WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer (IA-01) released the following statement on the announcement that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19:

"As we have seen firsthand in Iowa and around the country, this virus knows no ethnic, gender, or geographic boundaries and has now reached the President of the United States. I’m praying for the President and First Lady to make a fast and full recovery from COVID-19.
